WAVE ROCK WILDLIFE PARK

Public BBQ

Wave Rock Wildlife Park presents something of a conundrum across three hectares of bushland. The $20 gold pass covers four attractions, though the wildlife park emerges as the clear winner. On good days, you'll find healthy kangaroos, wallabies, and impressive native birds in reasonably generous enclosures, with caring staff who might even let you hold baby bunnies. Yet there's an underlying fragility - handwritten notices sometimes announce animal deaths, and certain enclosures feel cramped. Maintenance standards fluctuate like WA weather, sometimes impressive, other times showing signs of a small operation stretching resources.
